Dr. Jack Schmitz
Dr. Schmitz grew up just outside of Spokane, Washington before attending Montana State University for his undergraduate degree in Animal Science. He then went on to Washington State University in Pullman, WA for veterinary school, graduating in 2023.
After vet school he moved to the Black Hills and has been with us in Sturgis since graduation. He enjoys both small animal and equine medicine with a particular emphasis on dentistry (both equine and small animal) as well as surgery.
Outside of work you will find him in the outdoors hiking, fishing, skiing and enjoying everything the Black Hills has to offer.
